HELLO! :D
The 27th just had a dance practice for our item in Ladakh!
Segmented into Chinese, Malay, Indian and European dances and our group being an all-Chinese batch we were suspiciously grouped into the races of which our physical features matched most; with Leroy as our Chinese rep, Rebecca as our Malay rep, and Zhong Yun and Junhao (???) as our Indian and European reps respectively.
We had an enjoyable time learning our dances (and some other stuff) and attempting to look like semi-decent dancers.
On a side note, some ODAC-ers had a BODYWAVE!competition. The tentative winner at this point in time seems to be Leroy, but Mark has sworn to beat him. (Further updates shall be made once information is more concrete as there have been rumors that Mark seems to be apprenticing under Clarence, but there has been no real proof.)
A few of us also tried to dance the really complicated European dance which was done to the super fast paced Step Up 3 song with a series of steps done in split seconds. The key word is "try" because most of us failed barely fifteen seconds into the song. But! With practice, we can undoubtedly perfect it. :D
It was really fun as most of us went cra-ay-zee, especially during the running part for the Chinese Dance. Showing a little national pride there, you see! :)
THANK YOU AUDREY AND XINRU FOR THE AWESOME JOB!!
Stay tuned for our awesome dance practice videos which will be up soon! :D
